Campbell House Project

2630 Campbell Street
Kansas City, Missouri 64108-2732

Welcome to our Primary Residence and 15/20 year project.  I had been browsing for the "perfect house" that I could live and grow with since I arrived in Kansas City during 1995.

I finally found one in 2001 just down from Liberty Memorial. During July 4th and other events, you can see the flames and fireworks from the third floor.  It was built in 1905 and had belonged to the same family.  I bought it from the grandkids.  All the materials came from the local area, the stones and bricks and wood.  It has a lot of oak wood work, but it's all been painted.  A stripping party will take care of that.

The first house I endeavored to purchase was at 8220 Cherry Street; however, the company (PHP) turned out to be a national fraud - winding up under FBI investigation; thus, that did not go through.

During the storm of events that transpired from the infamous 9/11 of 2001, many things changed in my personal life; and at the appropriate time all the events came together presenting this house practically seven years since I arrived in Kansas City.
